An official trailer has been released for the horror thriller movie The Nun 2.
Serving as a sequel to 2018s The Nun, the new movie is the ninth installment in The Conjuring Universe franchise.
According to the official synopsis — The film begins in 1956 after a priest is murdered in France. The film will follow Sister Irene as she once again comes face to face with Valak, the demon nun.
Directed by Michael Chaves, the film stars returning cast members Taissa Farmiga, Bonnie Aarons and Jonas Bloquet and also stars Storm Reid, Anna Popplewell and Katelyn Rose Downey.
It is scheduled to be released in theaters in North America on September 8th, 2023 and internationally beginning September 6th, 2023.
