An official trailer has been released for the drama comedy movie Somewhere In Queens, starring Ray Romano, Laurie Metcalf and Jacob Ward.
According to the official synopsis — Leo Russo (Ray Romano) lives a simple life in Queens, New York, with his wife Angela (Laurie Metcalf), their son “Sticks” (Jacob Ward), and a colorful network of Italian-American relatives and friends. After Sticks gets a life-changing opportunity to play college basketball, Leo goes to unexpected lengths to try and make sure his son doesn’t follow in his footsteps and end up in his family’s construction business.
The film will be starring actor Ray Romano’s directorial debut. It is also written by Romano as well as co-written by Mark Stegemann.
Other cast include Sebastian Maniscalco, Tony Lo Bianco, Jennifer Esposito, Sadie Stanley and Jon Manfrellotti.
The film originally premiered at Tribeca Film Festival on June 10th, 2022 and has since been shown at various other festivals. It is now scheduled to be made available on digital (June 6th, 2023) and on demand (June 20th, 2023).
