An official trailer has been released for the action revenge movie Silent Night, starring Joel Kinnaman.
Directed by John Woo, according to the official synopsis — A tormented father (Joel Kinnaman) witnesses his young son die when caught in a gang’s crossfire on Christmas Eve. While recovering from a wound that costs him his voice, he makes vengeance his life’s mission and embarks on a punishing training regimen in order to avenge his son’s death.
The movie is Woo’s first American theatrical movie since 2003’s Paycheck, starring Ben Affleck.
Written by Robert Archer Lynn, other cast members include Scott Mescudi, Harold Torres and Catalina Sandino Moreno.
It is set to be released in theaters on December 1st, 2023.
