A second official trailer has been released for the upcoming Marvel TV miniseries Secret Invasion.
Secret Invasion is part of Phase 5 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) and follows the character Nick Fury played by Samuel L. Jackson.
According to the official synopsis — Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) learns of a clandestine invasion of Earth by a faction of shapeshifting Skrulls, who have infiltrated the highest spheres of the Marvel Universe. Fury joins his allies, including Everett Ross, Maria Hill and the Skrull Talos (Ben Mendelsohn), who has made a life for himself on Earth. Together they race against time to thwart an imminent Skrull invasion and save humanity.
Kyle Bradstreet serves as head writer and executive producer, with the series directed by Ali Selim, who also executive-produces it, along with executive producers Kevin Feige, Jonathan Schwartz, Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Brad Winderbaum, Samuel L. Jackson, Kyle Bradstreet and Brian Tucker.
Secret Invasion also stars Ben Mendelsohn, Cobie Smulders, Olivia Colman, Emilia Clarke, Kingsley Ben-Adir, Killian Scott, Christopher McDonald and Carmen Ejogo.
It is scheduled to premiere on streaming platform Disney Plus on June 21st, 2023.
