A final trailer has been released for the new Aquaman movie, starring Jason Momoa, Amber Heard, Patrick Wilson and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II.
Acting as an origin story for the superhero, according to the official synopsis — The story follows Arthur Curry aka Aquaman (Jason Momoa), a half-human, half-Atlantean man, who learns that he is the heir to the underwater kingdom of Atlantis. Caught between two worlds, as he is forced to face who he really is, Arthur must stop his half-brother, Orm (Patrick Wilson), from waging a war against the surface dwellers that threaten the oceans, all the while discovering if he is worthy of who he was born to be…a king.
Directed by James Wan, the movie also stars Dolph Lundgren, Willem Dafoe, Nicole Kidman, Temuera Morrison and Ludi Lin.
It is scheduled to be released in theaters on December 21st, 2018.
